In Loving Memory ~ Son and Mother Together ~ Dustin and Patti Rawls

In Loving Memory of "Angel Dustin" ~ 9-2-1982 ~ 9-27-2007 ~

In Loving Memory of "Angel Dustin" The Greatest Love Story Ever Told can be found in God's Word... John 3:16... "For God so loved the WORLD..that He gave His only begotten SON..that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him SHOULD NOT perish.....but have EVERLASTING LIFE."

This info is written by Dustin that was on his my space and tells you the kind of person he was. And he was double all that to me~

About me: ( by DUSTIN RAWLS)

I’m so genuinely caring that people often take my genuine interest in their thoughts as sarcasm or mocking. I’m loyal to those who are loyal to me and often to those who aren’t. I think everyone will get his or hers in the end. I’m somewhat of a wanderer -- in thought and physical location. I’m not a “think-before-you-speak” kinda guy. I have no respect for a disrespectful person. I consider myself to be virtually fearless, and although I acknowledge consequence, I don’t empower it – “Our doubts are traitors and make us lose the good we often might win, by fearing to attempt.” Every man should pave his own path, establish his own beliefs and take full advantage of his right to the pursuit of happiness! “Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear.” I’m a hopeless romantic, believe in love and soul mates and want a woman who sees right through me and loves what she finds! I have the tightest knit group of friends and greatest family a man could ask for and would lay down my life for every one of them!

Procrastination is wasting today’s time to clutter up tomorrow’s opportunities with yesterday’s troubles.

To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded~

My Star Dustin Marshall Rawls

September 2. 1982 – September 27, 2007

A star so bright, as your smile,
A star of light twinkling in your eye
This star I see each and every night

This star stands out for me to see
And I know is watching over me
The love it brings to my heart
I know will never be torn apart

Up above so high,
I can not reach to the sky
I know my star can feel my touch
I know my star knows I love him so much

I want to invite all to see My Star as he watches over thee
His smile like a magnet and heart of gold
A light so bright for all to see
Please share the joy this star brings to me

With all my love and my heart,
Love Mom

Our Dear Patti
from the beginning to the end
She always cared about us
and she never made a fuss

Her Friendship shown like the stars
always bright, always ours
How we will miss her loving ways
To the end of our days

Until we are together again
She will be our steadfast friend
Our love for Patti remains
in our hearts and in our veins

Forever Patti's Friend

Honoring Patti

Sometimes, they say, we're unaware
When angels visit earth;
But in this case, our Patti was
An angel from her birth.

She thought of others, not her self,
Not even in her pain;
And all her talents gladly shared,
Nor ever sought to gain.

She missed her son with all her heart,
But always sought to heal
The pain that other mothers felt,
The sorrow all too real.

And now, at last, her pain is o'er,
Her battle has been won;
Rejoicing in sweet Heaven's light,
United with her son.

The Lord she served has welcomed her,
Bright shining as the sun,
And put His arms around her
As He whispered soft, "Well done!"

Our angel children hug her tight,
Aware she helped us all,
A "second mother" she will be
Until we hear our call.

We'll miss her friendship and her warmth,
But always have her love,
And some sweet day our turn will come
To reunite above.
